Kennel Kivasti is a small breeder, breeding smooth-faced Pyrenean Shepherds. A breeder, who concentrates on health, character, working ability, not forgetting the appearance.

Martta will be mated in winter 2015/2016. It is maybe time to reveal the puppy plans!

Martta (Tottakai Uniikki Olen) is a mid-sized female (45cm/11kg) full of energy and not lacking attitude.  She does everything with full speed, but at home she is a cute lapdog. She takes training sessions seriously, but with a twinkle in her eye. Martta is always having loads of fun and is a Person with a big P. Her main hobby is agility, but she is also a smart obedience dog and an eager search dog. She competes in agility and has been to one dog show being BOB.

Martta is initially a bit reserved towards strangers, but will in no time sit in your lap enjoying the attention.

She has SISU J and hasn’t shown any signs of being reactive to sounds or having trouble with different surfaces. She is one of the most secure Pyrenean shepherds to loud noises I have ever encountered.  It is easy to take her with you all over and to travel with, and she relaxes quickly wherever she is.

Martta’s hip joints are C, knees and elbows 0/0.  Her eyes will be checked before mating.  She is TGA-negative.

Martta has some reactiveness, and her intensiveness and attitude show sometimes also in daily life.  She also is not the quietest dog.  This has been taken into consideration when choosing the male, which hopefully will a bit balance the puppies :)

Martta’s mother is Aune, FI&RU MVA, JV-08 Cannelle des Hauts de Fontclaire (B/B,hips and knees 0/0, eyes healthy) and father Elsa’s son Pakki, FI MVA, JWW-10, V-12 Tottakai Puuha Pete (B/B 0/0,0/0 eyes healthy).

Martta’s chosen fiancé is Brego demi-long haired merle (Barbarian Fighter Extreme Braveheart)

 Brego lives in Poland and is a very open gentleman, with A hips, 0 elbows and 0 knes.  Eyes will be checked before mating.  Brego is 45 cm, competes in the highest (3) agility class. He is not reactive to sounds and is comfortable of various surfaces.

Brego’s mother Brava has represented Poland in agility world championships (MM-4 2012 Extreme Braveheart Willa Mora) and his father is Bombadil Babou du Mourioche. Both parents have A hips, and Brava’s eyes are checked and doomed healthy. Brego’s siblings are all healthy with (A or B) hips and 0 elbows.

 Brego's owner Olga says about Brego:

I thought I would never get a male dog again and that I definetely prefer females... but then Brego was born and he was so special and so dear to me from the first moments already. I planned to keep a female from Brava's litter, but then in the end I just could not resist him and never regretted that decision. He is my special "mamma's boy", he tries very hard to please me and I just love his enthusiasm and energy. Thanks to him I discovered that obedience can be as fun as agility, as he is keen to do anything as long as he does it with me. He is really great working dog, with tons of drive but still able to think and to concentrate in all circumstances. He is really nice dog in everyday life as well, friendly with all the people and dogs. He can be really sweet, calm and cuddly at home and really crazy and driven when working. He is not afraid of anything, he's able to work in new environments, he doesn't react to loud noises, crowds and other distractions. All in all, I couldn't wish for a nicer dog and I'm really looking forward to seeing how he matures and reaches his full potential.
Bregos show assesment, jugde Alan Pecoult, breed specialist from France. Fine specimen of demi long variety of the breed, a little feminine and delicate at the moment, lightly built, rear angulation typical for demi-long variety of the breed, coat a bit soft at the moment, excellent head and expression, excellent temperament, very nice pointed nose, excellent dark eyes, well set ears, excellent momevent, excellent set of the tail, could flow a bit more in movement. Excellent, 1st place

Next winter we hopefully have puppies that are black, merle, fawn merle and fawn.  Some of them will most likely have a beard like their father.  I am hoping for the puppies to be lively and easy to work with and with a happy attitude.
